The only fan club I ever joined was the Legion of the Cramped. I loved that band. I saw them play maybe 6 or 7 times. The first time was  in 1981 at the Hammersmith Palais on a bill that included Screaming Lord Sutch and the Meteors. I was only 15 and I remember missing the last train back to my hometown and having to sleep in Paddington Station. The Cramps were awesome. Absolutely. Sometimes its just a privilege to have been able to see great performers and Lux was one of the best.
