I recently wrote the script for a film called Radio Mania for the artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard. It's based on an old 1920s silent sci-fi film. Our version is a kind of looped staged rehearsal and it was filmed in 3D at Twickenham Studios in West London. That's the same studio that the Beatles filmed the interiors for Help and Hard Day's Night. It looks like a holiday camp, not much changed since the 1960s. The film is currently running at the BFI Gallery on the South Bank in London. It's free and its on everyday (except Mondays) until mid-July. It's fun too. We had a great cast including Kevin Eldon (Nighty Night, Jam etc), Terrence Hardiman (The Demon Headmaster), Fenella Fielding (Carry on Screaming) to name but three. Look out for the Godard referencing Martian dance scene.
